Welcome to Derek Munro Tennis School!
The Derek Munro Tennis School was first set up in Leeds in 1984. With 400 children and 100 adults having weekly tennis lessons, we are the largest tennis school in North Leeds. It is based at the premier tennis club in Leeds - Chapel Allerton. The facilities include 3 carpet indoor courts, 4 grass, 3 European clay and 6 artificial grass outdoor courts. 3 courts have floodlights.
The tennis school caters for all ages from 4 yrs upwards. We cater for all levels. Derek, a professional LTA Master Performance Coach is also a Professional coach with the USPTR. He is licensed, has a current CRB, has trained in first aid and has public liability insurance. Derek is a Scottish internationalist and Yorkshire champion and has won the Chapel Allerton club championship singles 10 times. Derek coached players to junior international standard. The school uses other coaches, all LTA qualified, to help deliver the extensive tennis coaching programme. Lessons can be individual, two people sharing, three sharing through to larger groups.
